Please allow glamours in Frontlines^^.
There's no reason not to have them.
Everyone's name plate state their job/class on their head in bright, beautiful colours.

Glamour should be allowed. Saying it would be hard to identify classes is ridiculous because the classes can easily be identified based upon what weapon they're using and what animations they have. On top of that it says what they are above their head. There is no excuse why glamour is not allowed and after hearing that it isn't, I have one less reason to participate in Frontlines. It's bad enough I can't play with my friends and family. Now I can't play as my character either? I'm forced to wear the appearance of equipment that I think looks terrible? Thanks SE.

ITT: pvp noobs
literally complaining just to complain.
I understand the rationale. If everyone is going in with snowman suits and then stacks together, I would bet that you would have people screaming for glamours not to be allowed.
Server: Sargatanas || Main Job: Scholar || Chocobo: Bonchon
If everyone stacks together you're going to have a hard time picking people out anyway.
You can't see people's gear when they stack reguardless of whether or not they're a snowman^^.
All about that fancy little nameplate that says all you need to kno~
So people can take a rough guesstimate on how powerful you are by your appearance. Someone wearing the cascader's outfit is going to be a lot less effective then someone wearing full PvP armor. (bit of an extreme example, but you get the drift).
Pretty much every MMO that has some sort of vanity system does this for PvP.
^^^^ A large % of being a good pvper is knowing the appearance of various tiers of gear to be able to gauge your opponents power at a glance.
Since you don't pvp... read above. Class has much less relevance than gear.
-Decently geared dps walks up
Fresh 50 whm
Fresh 50 blm
-you should kill the blm 1st. This healer will not have the power to stop you if your decently geared.
-Decently geared dps walks up
Fresh 50 whm
mid geared BLM
-you should kill the whm and ignore the blm. He will hurt but he will take too long to kill compared to wiping out the whm in a quick rush
-Decently geared dps walks up
decked out 50 whm
decked out 50 blm
-you should send 1 person after the blm to keep them occupied and send everyone else to blitz the whm.. His regens alone will be an issue.

It's synced down to 80 already. The possibility of encountering someone who would be an easy target because of their gear is incredibly low.
On top of that, gear is not the only factor in PvP. The person with less gear could be a substantially better player that the one(s) that do have gear.
Also, to claim that class has less relevance than gear is ridiculous. Class dictates your entire tool set whereas gear only dictates a fraction of your numbers. Class is by far the most important identifier as it dictates the match up you'll be involved in.

But that would be beauty of Glamour. Having a wolf in disguise, so you don't know who is better geared than you would make things more interesting. Instead of going with the usual strategy, they would just be a wrench thrown into the gears of just another normal battle.
I really don't care how good they think they are. When I can hit them for 1500 dmg in one hit their skill isn't going to matter they will be dead before the stun ends.
No it turns strategy into blind swinging and praying. There is no strategy when you don't know your opponent. But that would be beauty of Glamour.
