SMNs, Contagion, and You

Wow, thought I was just lagging really bad last night in T7. Glad others are experiencing this too. Hope it gets fixed soon. While I love how Aerial Slash works now, I need my Contagion back.

Yeah it got worse this patch but spamming the button will make Garuda cast it I love that skill
I think other summons have the same problem

Results of my testing:
If Garuda is casting windblade on ANYTHING, she will not use Contagion or Arial Slash or Shockwave. She just ignores your command and the game tells you, "Cannot Execute at this time." Am I the only one noticing/annoyed by this?

I've had this issue since I started playing summoner again about 3 weeks ago...so this patch is unrelated I think.
Just like you I end up having to spam contagion over & over until I can see she's finally used it.
Sometimes it ques and goes off but others I'm looking at the button 1 min later it has not gone off at all.
It's really annoying, I wish it was instant and just overrides whatever she's doing.

It's the same issue I have when trying to silence with Selene.

I've never had this issue until the day 2.3 went live. It's definitely a result of the patch. Why else would people be discussing it the day of the patch and not before?

I mean I had the issue but i didn't bother talking about it because I figured it was just how the pets worked?
My FC mate mentioned he had the same issues while leveling up his summoner as well so I am telling you, this was an issue before the patch as well.
However I know it didn't used to be an issue a few months ago. So somewhere in between 2.1 and now this might have become an issue.

I can guarantee that this issue started as of 2.3. What people didn't know about how Contagion worked on obey is that it added it to a que, not that Garuda used it right away. Shed finish what she was doing then use Contagion, you only had to hit the button once. Now if you do it that way, there's a 50/50 chance Garuda will just ignore it completely. It will be fixed, but when...? lol

Happened to me all yesterday in Syrcus Tower. Tried it on the test dummies and it happened again. I have noticed this problem with her signature attack. Its really annoying, it isn't going off when I tell her to do it. I tried just having her to obey and not do anything else but the signature attack or the contagion and it is not going off when I tell her to do it unless I spam press the button. Hope this gets addressed soon.

Noticed this in SCoB today. My Aerial Slash tied to Bane would usually always get queued up with 1 press of my Bane macro. Today it would get ignored, and now I have to spam my Contagion hotkey to get it to go. This makes SMN feel a little clunky now

I had the reverse, my macro with Bane and Aerial Slash works fine, it's the Contagion click until you get arthritis that bothers me to no end now. What I am forced to do now is place Garuda in steady, cast the dots, click contagion once and then place Garuda back on guard so it spams Windblades to it's heart content until I need contagion once more.
