A suggestion about adding a rule

I understand that a lot of people want you to watch youtube about the fight before entering a dungeon, I get that I really do.

Though to attack someone and belittle someone and call them names because someone doesn't watch the video decides to give it a test is very wrong.

Even kicking someone because of it.

I believe this should fall in the same lines as using a parser to belittle someone about how much damage they are doing to make them feel small and bad mouth and kick.

I think a new rule should be against using youtube to justify their actions against a person.

I ran into a bunch a few ago in moogle extreme I knew the fight, though they attacked a whm and included me cause I said they could of taken two seconds to explain to them but they said they don't have two seconds and left but before they left they started to cuss and call people noob and make fun of them before they left all because they didn't watch a youtube fight.

Sorry but that's going a little too far.

So I suggest a rule should be put down for this and make it a form of punishment for peoples actions who do this type of stuff.

I mean people wouldn't know what to do if youtube didn't exist so why are they acting all high and mighty wouldn't that make them worst than you because they had to use a crutch to beat a boss.

I mean this is a MMOrpg I never seen this type of attitude in FFXI from people this is sad and very wrong.

I write them off as bad gamers, yes bad because their attitudes stink. Claim they want a challenge right? Oh wait, lets rush through! Hey..glitch..EXPLOIT!!! Hmmm...avoid that stuff so we can rush through. Lets go for the easy kill method. I'm pro! (even though I don't get paid to play and have any endorsements). You get the gist. My server on FFXI was nothing like this FF.

You can report them for harassment if you feel harassed, I don't really see that adding such a specific rule would be helpful, as it's not about players wanting people to do research before a fight, but rather how they react when someone does that. Saying "You are not allowed to harass a person because they do(or don't do) 'X' " Isn't needed, because you are not allowed to harass a person period regardless of the reason. That said there is a line between critique and Harassment, one that is often very subject to interpretation. If you're interpretation is that it's harassment, report it, and let it go through the GM system.

Nothing gets done about harassment though.

A while back i had someone follow me around and open a trade window everytime i wanted to warp away, locking me in place up to the point where i had to call a GM to intervene. Hour later, the person was still happily strolling around town. Day later, still there. To this day, still here, no action was taken at all.
