Really? It didn't annoy me at all, oh well. If XIV was released with the "laser targeting" system I think behests would be a bit more easier to organize. Sometimes the "attack this" icon that go over the mob's name is too small to see.

Here we are in the next MMO after XII and it sort of feels like they forgot a lot of the neat things they'd done there, though obviously it's a lot harder to implement things in an MMO scenario than offline.

Oh yeah definitely, but I think they could make some of the things in XII work out online.
