Wait, desynthing fish gives shards and crystals?

As in how they worked in 1.xx?

That is truly shocking. I might actually come back now.

You pretty much only get Water shards, with some Earth and Wind shards from dune- and sky-fish, respectively. Great if you're an alchemsit, pretty meh otherwise.

It would have been cool if you could get all varieties of shards depending on the fish you desynthed, but sadly it isn't so.
