The final boss was kinda chaotic but we managed. The first boss, a sasquatch was fun. But being a FF game, wouldn't he be named Umaro?

Umaro at the beginning and Ultros at the end. That's what I was expecting. But, it was an awesome dungeon and the music was great. I had fun actually doing new content on launch day for once. XD
Everything was good up until the Kraken. Played with people from a FC I know, the BLM in our party along with the BRD were getting screwed over constantly and died 5 times each for both of them I think, nothing but a congestion of where to go and when is the tentacle going to stay here so we can attack it and when is this attack going to come. I understand why it pissed him off honestly, will probably dread doing that dungeon in the future since you can't attack the tentacle at all even slightly unless all four people are on the same platform.
Also why does every boss enemy in the game now in these dungeons have a Flame Charge move like the Manticore in Halatali HM? What's with the copy paste for the Sasquatch and Stone Vigil HM final boss?
Erm... what do you mean all four on the same platform... we finished it with just our mnk still alive - but was fun.
Except it's not Ultros... If you want to see Ultros... well... Search and you shall find.

Kraken is really easy, I don't understand why people HAVE TO RUN AROUND like headless chicken. That's like "Oh a button, let's press it ASAP ! I died ? Let's try again !".
Tank grabs a first tentacle, kill it. Wait for the debuff, 2 solutions :
-Put the debuff on the platform, everybody moves to the next platform.
-The player with the debuff moves to a platform, put the debuff there and comes back.
The dungeon was fun, but I didn't feel the music fit there at all.
Agree with Alcyon1 - it's just a case of organisation. We started off with all the group moving islands when someone got the debuff, but found it HUGELY easier to just have the player with the debuff to jump to diagonal island from where they are. The tentacles seemed to rotate so popping the whirls on the diagonal island seemed to reduce the risk of ending up that island fighting tentacles.
Great dungeon though - same with the 2 new HM dungeons. Great fun and it seems some thought has gone into the mechanics too.
Did it last night and I enjoyed it. My only issues with it are the final boss is weird, in that you win after you kill enough arms, so it was a bit anti-climatic to be running around getting into the fight expecting the head to get close for the final bout, only to watch it sink into oblivious. Me and my group stood there confused for a bit since it didn't feel like we won a fight.
My only other issue is Sasquatch.....that is quite clearly a gorilla! Sasquatches don't even eat bananas!!!!
