That if you don't log in for 35 days (god forbid you need to stop playing for a short while) that your home is removed and put back up for availability? Or did I miss where that whole thing was canned? Ahahha...

Since there has been no clarification from the dev's on this we can assume that's how it works. There is no real difference between FC housing and this fake "personal housing"; they just opened up FC's for individual buyers.
idk if 35 day rule already take the place , but i think those 35 will be same for FC/"fake personal"
If you don't log in for over 35 days, I would hope that you get your house taken away from you. Especially since the FC and the personal housing lots are shared, space is extremely limited. If you're that worried, then join a good FC with a house and buy your personal room (which is much cheaper). There are plenty of people who have the money for a small house and wish to purchase one but can't because they didn't log in within hours of the maintenance ending.
Hilarius, really. Not sure sure what the mentioning of money has to do with anything, aside from thinking that it blows that you can lose it! Blowing a bunch of cash and then something comes up where you can't pay for a sub for a month and you lose that is pretty rubbish, really. Conversely, it's also a heap of rubbish if limited space is taken up by empty FCs/Personals. This is just a terrible way to go all around, let's be real.
Just another reason that people need to be given a choice to have instanced housing that never gets taken away from you.
I mean, come on - Housing in like, Wildstar for example is practically free and a thousand times more robust, with hundreds of objects that you can put on your personal plot (300 outside, 800 inside) that you can scale, change the look of your plot, build over the top of your house, costs almost nothing in terms of in-game money and is never taken away from you.
If mog house style housing isn't made available eventually, I don't know what they are thinking, hah.

They have been on a quest to make sure things are as unlike XI as possible... the good aspects included. I really miss my mog house, my spinning moogle, and my flower pots.
I even miss my old rusty bucket, the first piece of "furniture" I ever got.
SE - pull it together already. This is a joke.
@The_Last_Dragoon: It is a fact that there are severe plot availability issues, but there is no reason for hostility between FCs and individuals, the current situation was not our choice.
While the 35 day rule makes sense for FCs (it's not much to expect at least one member to show up per month, if not, the FC is probably dead anyway), it is not reasonable when it comes to personal housing.
An individual can be absent from the game for over a month for a number of reasons: physical/mental illness, busy work schedule, school/university exams, moving house, army duty (obligatory in many countries), just to name a few; it is unfair to punish them for being human, especially since it is much harder for a single person to collect the amount of money required for a house than it is for a group.
As far as I know, the 35 day rule will be implemented in 2.4; even if I do have enough gil for a house by then, I am definitely not buying one until I see an official response to this issue.
@Naamah agreed!
@Scylliss YUS wish housing was that customizable and could hold that many items. lol
@Syrehn so true
@naamah I'm in the same boat as you on this... Looking at personal housing this way, with the 35 day rule applied to it, seems more like a tight leash that's put on people to make sure they stay subbed. It feels.. kind of shady.
@jakthegreenfox haha, I noticed they even upped the amount of junk you could put on your plot in Wildstar for drop 3! Now it's 2000 on the inside and 1000 on the outside! All the things that can be done! =D
