Hope so, as far as I know outside gardening (or paying over price on the MB) there is no other way to get the food for your chocobo raising. I would be happy if at least we could get some vase for indoor use that would let us plant, even if only 1 plant per vase.

That is a genius idea. Although for crossbreeding even numbers are ideal. You have the adjacent plant and the harvested plant (the one that will yield seeds). So either 2 windows with 2 slots each or 1 window with 4 slots.

Anyway, getting too much into details lol. Genius idea!

Private housing will be setup just like FC housing with land, so all signs point to yes.

I hope so because if SE doesn't add alternative methods for people to get chocobo feed (and even magicked brooms!) there's no way that the current gardening limitations will allow enough chocobo feed to all chocobos in a given server.

Hoepfully, krakka seeds have a 99 yield or something, because this is ridiculous.

I'd like to know the answer to this as well... I'd really like to garden or raise chocobos, but my guild is small and it may take us months and months to earn the money... if we could get access to this for a little cheaper by going for separate housing it may be a better deal.

I too have lost my chance at our FC plot because we couldn't get on in time I hope to see new wards soon...

I totally agree with OP.

Unlike your FC though, we managed to purchase a small plot months ago. Still, we were left with no choice other than The Goblet (we all wanted to go to Gridania or Limsa for various reasons).
We still got it only to accomodate ourselves until more wards would be released... which too forever and all the plots were gone in an instant.
Now, we would gladly relinquish our plot to get a larger one in Gridania or Limsa, but we'll never be able to at this rate.

The bigger plots are even more expensive so we need to wait for the price to come down, but bigger FC just grab the lot at whatever price.

Honestly, there should always be a new ward added immediately when they are 90% full.

If the same thing will happen with private housing, the dev's better put it off for a later date and prepare a HUGE amount of wards.
This is just ridiculous to lock out players like this or be forced to pick a location you don't like much.
