Reserve All Fanfest tickets for subscribers.

This is a sincere request for the people at SE to make the next batch of general tickets available to those who still hold a promo code. Many people would like to go, probably more than you planned and I can understand, it was never this much of a push to get it for fanfest for FFXI, but with this changes are needed. Please put the tickets that are going to be sold in general to active paying members of the community to ensure that as many attendees as possible who are fans and supporters of your game are able to attend. I know I for one would like to meet as many from this community as possible and I want to know that everyone who is there is there because they paid the same price for a ticket and wasnt gouged simply to show their love for this game. Please reconsider general sales and put up all thats left under the promotional codes once again.

I got my tickets please let others get theirs the same way.

Thumbs up for emphasis. A lot of loyal Legacy Players, some who've been to the FFXI Fan Fests like myself, feel genuinely cheated by this system. I was locked out within a span of 30 seconds, despite being there at 10:30am and 5:00pm PDT ...

I'm certainly not opposed to the idea as I myself haven't been able to secure a ticket yet, but I question the need for all this exclusive pre-sale business at all. Are there actually people who aren't subscribed to the game but want to pay $120 for a ticket to a fan festival for a game they don't play? It seems that would be a very tiny demographic of crazy people.

Is there any evidence that the tickets that have been sold so far were sold to non-subscribers?

Yeah scalpers, and their actually pretty common. If you've been to san diego comic cons outskirts of e3 or pax you can find them, not easily but with a bit of effort. I seen my fair share at San Diego's and friend of mine at blizzcon and another at pax.

I'll definitely agree that's a good reason to send players promo codes that allow only them to purchase tickets, and a great argument to continue the requirement for the next batch of tickets, but the pre sale concept is still silly.

We'll know when Scalpers try to resell the tickets to us. Doubt this event will be any more immune to them than any other big gaming event or convention with limited tickets.

Don't you need to have a photo ID that matches the name printed on the ticket, though?
