Minion and Mount Guides

Thank you Square-Enix for implementing Lore like guides for all my Mounts and Minions. I really enjoyed reading about the history of the various Mounts and Minions that I have collected so far, and now look forward to collecting them all even more.

I love how the Minion Guide has an image of what the Minion's footprints look like too. So cute!

I was wondering though, what does the Behaviour section mean? I think some of them said "Independent" and I can't remember what the others said. Are the Minions supposed to be more than just a gimmick? Regardless, I love all my Minions. XD

Looking at the minions, 'Independent' seems to be the ones that wander around and 'Obedient' are the ones that stare at your butt, mostly.

Hehe, I love how also if you hover your cursor over the mount or minion image when it's profile is open, a non-interacative-npc-style speech balloon appears with a comment from a random npc. The ones for the wind up sylph and Cait Sith Doll are especially interesting - the former because it's actually a reference to version 1.0 (the dialogue is from a 1.0 Path Companion), and the Cait Sith Doll's one is, fittingly, a piece of Cait Sith's dialogue from FFVII!

"Helping sylphs with their problems is a jolly fine way to make friends!" - Path Companion

"What may be a few to you was everything to those who died." - Cait Sith

I'm certain Ferne and the lore/writing/translation teams had great fun writing this dialogue, as it shows. Thank you everyone!

Incidentally, the dialogue for the sylph minion makes me wonder... could this be a very subtle first hint that the Path Companions will be returning? I sure hope that's indeed the case and not just me looking at something that isn't there.

I knew our chocobos are all male (this was stated as such back in 1.0) but I didn't know they were gelded. Poor guy.
