    Feedback on Dungeons (and random boss elements)

    Just wanted to hear what everyone thinks of the new dungeons!

    Also if anyone can guess which final boss Yoshi is referring to here:
    "...since we’ve received a lot of feedback on this, one of the three new dungeons will have a boss that has a high degree of randomness. Everyone’s average item level is quite high so if you really push it you’ll probably be able to get past it, but we’d like you to challenge it without pushing it too hard and hear your feedback. Our policy isn’t such that we definitely won’t add random elements, but we want to create battles that offer players a fair chance of clearing.


    This was part of his answer in response to the question:
    "There are a lot of battles that require the memorization of patterns in order to win, but in the future will there be any battles with more random elements?"

    I personally really like the new dungeons and had a blast figuring them out. Guessing the random boss is Tam-Tara? What about you guys?

    Here's what kinda strikes me as "random" in these fights.

    Hull Isle: Random people get thrown, inked, and chosen to spawn exploding water tornadoes.

    Stone Vigil: Last boss has no aggro table. He turns and does a kind of emote... If he leans back and kinda breathes in, he'll do a mid-range fireball. Melee is safe, max range is safe.
    If he leans forward, then he'll charge in that direction. And barring those 2, I think the only other thing he does is turn towards someone, or in some direction, and do a melee range frontal swipe... So its all "random", but telegraphed.

    TTD: Um, random line attacks, random ground aoes... But they do ~500 damage each. You'd need to literally stand in the middle of ALL of the line attacks to die.

    Yeah, the Stone Vigil final boss is a bit random and the "twist" partway into the fight... Well, let's just say I had to raise the healer and other DPS

    I really enjoyed the challenge. Everyone was on their toes the entire fight, which was a nice change of pace.

    Stone Vigil's lastt boss is a good start for new encounter, LF more of it.

    I enjoyed all of them. Though I'm sad that only 2/3 actually have some fresh music. Still better effort than the last one. Though I must say the Syrcus tower BGM is rather low while the hullbreaker bgm is a bit to high in volume.
