New crafted i90 DoW/DoM accessories are awful

• They only have 2 base stats. One main stat (STR,DEX,VIT,etc) and one secondary stat (PIE, DET, SS). The STR ones are especially terrible. They're all STR+SS ... possibly the worst secondary stat.
• costs 1500 myth
• getting rank IV materia you need to even think about making this worthwhile hasn't been made much if any easier to acquire
• still no rank V materia to help reach stat caps

So, bare minimum you, need to meld *at least* 2 materia before it even has the same number of stats as the rings you buy for 375 myth.

Jesus, SE, if you were going to nerf these things so hard, you could have at least given it 2 or 3 guaranteed materia slots to make the pain of overmelding these things more bearable.

Anyone else getting the impression that SE just doesn't want you using these things!?

It's not even that they aren't the best. Its that they're not even useful. They are only the smallest bit better than the easily farm-able i90 accs with at least two forbidden melds. So it's not like the i70 stuff where you could use it to get a bit ahead of the darklight grind. Especially when everyone's been getting soldiery forever now and 10/20 ilevels of primary stat is far more important than basically any secondary combination.
The one area where i70 accs maintened relevance was the strength/vitality melds on Warriors.
But the lack of any accuracy on the strength or vit i90 craftables means they have to meld high-level forbiddens all the way down.

I hate using "slap in the face" but they went "You want i90 accs? Here have some with less relevance and higher hurdles to synthesis than any of the other classes".

these new jewellery pieces seem pretty useless and are going to be expensive to buy and craft.. never mind pentamelds. not worth the time when you can get either myth and or sol gear easily or run coil for allagan & high allagan pieces.

not to mention accessories from primals.

For a 2.39 GCD DPS build WAR, the i90 accessories are pretty useful.

The new accessories aren't that bad to make if you're a crafter. The materials are about 750k right now with the prices on my server (300k for emery, 150k for Raziqsand, 100k for Demimateria II, 10k for Demimateria I). Right now, they'll be in the millions, but when prices calm down, they'll be about 700k each, which isn't really that bad. Of course, that's not including the cost of the meld...

This fact makes crafting pretty much pointless.

Why even bother and throw millions at an item which can't be better than ilvl110 stuff?

The effort, time and materials required for these items is a joke if you consider their usefulness.
People will sell them and people will buy them, but not me.
I'll rather run easy new ST and get ilvl110 for free.
