I understand that there is more important stuff going on. However, the design team comes off so lazy so many times.

Gear is being copy pasted, even cross job, you can't give one item two glamours (ex.: your PLD and WAR will look the exact same) and every major patch we'll get 1 or 2 hairstyles per race per gender.

Many people, I think, would be happy if there is more variety for our character. It's not that the "create your character" screen has that many options...

Coming from someone that doesn't like PVP, I'm glad you're more interested in what your hair looks like rather than bringing content to the game. I see nothing wrong with 1-2 additional hair styles in the bigger patches. Must bigger things to focus on.

Well most games don't add new hairstyles till expansions and when they do they are badly done (i'm looking at you WoW).

So getting one or two every big patch is nice.

The reason for just for that is it actually takes time to conceptualize, model, sculpt, texture, paint weights and rig things. In the 3d world it's normal to always re-use models, specially as a base for new creations, because it is more efficient and less time consuming. Besides, the hairstyles aren't the only things they had to design and model.

Out of the many gender/racial combos, we only got 4. Mi'qote Male, Highlands, and Midlander Female. Sad.

Seems they slacked on styles this patch.

Why are we still not getting cross-gender hairstyles? I mean, males got genuinely long hair, but why keep the styles locked to the genders? The male long hair looks terrible, like Fabio suffering a rare bad hair day. Imagine how great they'd look with some of the female styles! Imagine how great women would look with some of the male styles... Get on the ball, Square! Lets start a movement! Equal hair, equal rights!
