Common monsters may include Clones of Xande.

Ancient Dedal : Bone dragons, Thanatos and King behemoths were random encounter. Titan was the boss. As Ferne mentionned on another post, he had to be renamed for (obvious) reason, and was just renamed again because JP used "Acheron".
Syrcus Tower + Eureka : Scylla, Amon and a boss similar to the second were in Eureka, while Xande is the obvious last boss of the Tower.
World of Darkness : As mentionned earlier.

Wouldn't make sense to fight Doga and Unei when we just killed many of them manipulated by voidsent anyway.

What I don't get is why did they have to change the name. I read the post but it still doesn't make any sense Titan/Acheron use the same character model right? So why didn't they just say Acheron was clones of the final boss, honestly when I went through the tower the first time I thought to myself, or so he's been cloned to act as a defense before facing off against Amon, it made logical sense, that I find it odd that the NA team didn't run that idea by the JP team seeing as this whole tower did focus on the clone aspect pretty much.

There's 2 different "Titan" in Japan, apparently.
To avoid confusion, the "Titan" from CT was renamed Acheron (same monster in FF3, but different palette).

Unfortunately, our Japanese friend decided to name one of the mob in the new CT "Acheron".
So they faced the same problem : it'd be weird to have acheron-monsters while Acheron is supposed to be a general from Allagan army. Thus, they had to rename Acheron.

They could have said they were clone, but it wouldn't have been the case in JP but here, yes. Weird much. You can't have 2 different stories depending on the localization.
Now, from what I got from Ferne's post, I assume the localization team isn't really here to say "what if we said they were clone?" but more "Can we do that? Please? Pretty please?"
