UI Flickering in High Population Zones

Yeah same issue here and also world flicker since 2.3 landed, it was fine before.

I'm having an interesting problem since the newest patch. Occasionally in high population zones such as Mor Dhona, when turning the camera or jumping my UI (Chat, Quest tracker, skill bars) will flicker off and then on again. This is very quick and only noticeable if you pay attention to it. It does not happen in low population areas.

I have tried changing from windowed to borderless windowed to fullscreen and that changes nothing. I have tried disabling Occlusion Culling as I thought that may be the issue but no such luck.

My PC setup:

Intel i7 3770k
Sabretooth Z77 Mobo
EVGA GTX 780 6GB
8GB DDR3

Does anyone have insight into this kind of issue?

same issue here I find it annoying especially since I am on a ps4 and have no control over the graphics.

Having the same issue no other graphically issues. Just some text and some HUD elements flickering in high traffic areas.

I, too, experience this in Mor Dhona. Thought it was strange that it only happens there (and most importantly only the UI!), then I noticed it in Limsa too.

as has been noted, hiding player names (or just those who are not on your friends list) resolves the problem.

Doesn't seem like THE solution. I don't think you should have to do that.

Having issues with this as well since 2.3 hit. Also, MAJOR graphical artifacts where none were present before (even in low population areas..like an FC housing room. With 3 furnishings.)
Tested this on two different computers and updated drivers afterward just to be certain, but the problems persist. A lot of people on reddit also have similar problems. The below link is just showing off the odd graphical glitches that occur along with the flickering UI.

Exactly I wasn't having this issue at all before 2.3 in the exact same situations. My PC is hardly a toaster.
