I've noticed from clearing the r50 raids 10+ times is that the emnity algorithm Is a bit off. For example the enmity on the ogre boss is completely different than Batraal using the same abilities/spells. Doing cure I on the ogre after that tank provokes and taunts should not make a healers hate meter go from nothing to yellow period... Cure II yes, cure I absolutely not and cure III obviously red. I can do a SacIII or a CureIII on Batraal right at the start and it will only be green which should also be adjusted.
It's not balanced, however it's easily possible to kill the bosses. You just need to adapt to the changes. I'll give you a hint on what will help on the Ogre if no one else already said this. If your whole party has contagion.. The THM ability.. Have them all equip it. It will transfer all the enfeebling effects from the ghosts onto the boss weakening him.
So you got enfeebling from contagion. You should also have a true enfeebler/dot caster. That's double enfeebles right there. Also THMs absorb spells/initiation transfers those spells to the tank giving him even more def, eva, acc, atk etc. That's less heals for your healers. May I also suggest you use roaming soul sacIII on your tank right before the portal spawns the boss. That should help a bit I would think.
As for if you were to wipe and run back. I would suggest having the tank run down the right ramp with sacIII on him as well as any type of magic def and physical def buff. He should have his cureIII button ready. As for the rest of your party, they should run down the left ramp with all their buffs. Have one of your casters chainspell stoneskin back to back while the other focus on heals. If you need to use Curaga, I would suggest using soughspeak beforehand. Then just get back into your positions. There's many ways you can do this and trust me it's completely possible but it's best to take competent players.
If you're having a mp management issue. Cast what you need to then go passive, it's not hard. Rinse repeat.
Hope that helps you. Good luck!
