He's also killed Batraal which you haven't even seen yet. I was trying to be constructive when I threw my two cents into this whine thread but that required some restraint on my part considering your attitude since about page 3.

The fact is a lot of people in this thread aren't from Figaro and don't know you from a hole in the wall. I am from Figaro and although I still don't know you from a hole in the wall I do know your linkshell, Magitek Legends.

Back in January people were killing the pre-nerf NM's with 3 or 4 or 5 people. A few THM's were trailblazing the solo. Your LS was fighting them with a full alliance of 15 and used about 9 mages in party (and maybe even more outside?) to AoE cure III bomb hundreds of times a fight until maybe you managed to kill before rage. No BR's, no tactics, no strategy, no nothing. And did you honestly think this sort of mindless spamage was going to carry on into actual game content? You're now surprised you're having issues with a dungeon? If you're surprised, you're the only one. Every competent linkshell on Figaro saw this coming for you months ago and now here you are wanting a nerf.

I have nothing against your LS. I've spoken with some of your members and found many of them very likable and was even going to invite one of your Lalafell to my LS because I thought he was a pretty cool guy. I also believe, generally speaking, that what one man can do another can do, but your LS has been lead into a lot of bad habits that aren't going to produce wins against real and challenging content. I wouldn't have bothered pointing any of this out but since you have such hostility towards anyone who disagrees with your position I thought a reality check was in order.

The short story is this: You're doing it wrong. You've been doing it wrong since launch. It isn't the game, it's you.

You just sat there and lied about my Linkshell. Good job. We've always used BRs and have never brought more than 5 mages to anything. Nice try though. The post that you quoted was not towards you. It was towards someone who has done nothing but "try" to belittle me ever since he came into this thread and almost all of this "claims" have been complete lies. 10 rebirths in a 60 minute period? Impossible. The dude is a blatant liar that does nothing but try and insult those that he sees as lower than himself, yet you still try to defend him with lies as well? I took your constructive post and I actually respected you for not going on a flaming ragefest, which is why I didn't reply to it because it was, for the most part, true, but here you are, trying to belittle me AND my LS. That respect has just gone completely out of the window.

I'm not disrespecting your members. I said I found them likeable and people I find likeable I want to see succeed. What I am saying is that nobody is surprised that you cannot get past Ogre given what we've seen from you. That isn't a knock against the rank and file of Magitek Legends. Again, what one man can do another can do. It is a knock against whoever is organizing your raids, though, and one that wouldn't have been at all necessary if you weren't here with a thread that had 11,000+ views calling for a nerf of the first real content we've seen in FFXIV. A nerf? Really? Way to rain on the FFXIV communities parade, all because you can't bumble your way through a dungeon.

Let me reiterate. I don't have anything against your members, your leaders, your former members, your future members, and all things in between. I like who i've met. I just have an issue with you calling for a nerf and essentially wanting to ruin the game for everyone because you have trouble with it. It isn't something i'm overly worried about but the servers are down and here I am.

There are lots of people who won't complete the dungeon immediately. They're working at it. They're enjoying it and taking a sense of accomplishment out of each inch further they reach with every run. They aren't here demanding it be made easier. What did you want? A glorified leve?
Others are completing the dungeon. You have been given all the tools to complete it, too. Stop your crying.

Chainspell - 300 second recast (5 min) - This is what YG says, I thought it was shorter but I'm not a mage...
Rebirth - who cares recast its too long (you probably cant think outside the box, but look it up if you must know)

60 min in dungeon

60/5 = 12

He did lie, you can actually cast it 12 times if your fast enough, I am sure Guks using some common knowledge realizes you cant possibly die and rebirth within the first second of being in the dungeon. Accounting for cutscenes, wait times for lights you can call it a safe 10. If you cant figure it out from here....

hmm maybe you could pull off somewhere near 10 by spamming chainspell everytime it is up to reduce your timers, but even then, I don't think it reduces it enough to pull off 10-12 Rebirths. I admit though, thinking about it, I could be wrong on that.

Let me direct you back to my original post. The answer is there, don't look at what is right in front of your face all the time and look farther down the road. Your going to be kicking yourself when you figure this out, I do it for the LULZ...
