And that's exactly what we've been asking for this whole time. SE nailed it, the r50 dungeon is a great starting point for future content.
not hard enough? Are you crazy? I mean, I get that you're an elitist and all, but come on. With the current system, the very basic and very gimped AA system, the horrible stat system and the lack of a decent ENM calculation system, this fight is not exactly a walk in the park and it shouldn't be, true, but it definitely shouldn't be harder than say...Kirin...or..hell, aside from PW and AV, I can't really think of a fight in FFXI that was harder than this crap...well maybe Archangels with a bunch of scrubs that didn't know how to kite...but seriously. How the hell do I avoid getting AoE spammed in the face? No where in that room is safe -.-

Is the "shouldn't" a typo or is that for real? You can call me elitist all you want, though I don't believe I am one. Only reason I'm getting upset is because you're asking SE to dumb down the first bit of REAL content we've gotten in 10 months since release. It's only been what, 3 days since 1.18 released? Don't expect everyone to beat all the content already, it's supposed to last us till 1.19 after all.

I'm gonna have to disagree on this one. Less than 24 hours after the new mid level nm's were added the forums were full of people complaining about how easy they were and how this game holds no challenges. The r45 dungeon is a challenge, it is clearly an example of a dungeon that can not simply be ran through with a party of Archers. Sure soon people will find a quick strat that works well to blaze through it. But in the meantime its a real honest challenge....and it is one we were asking for lets remember.
5) the r45 dungeon needs a slight nerf. "CRY MOAR!" no seriously, the ogre opens up with AoE spam and the mages are usually dead in the first 30 seconds of the fight which leads to #6. Also, fix it so that if you wipe and have to return, that the mobs don't pop until you're team is inside the room. It is VERY hard to recover from a wipe on that fight as you will probably wipe again before your team is back into the fight (Stupid ghosts..)

And I know, not everyone is supposed to have beaten it already, but I honestly can't see how you can prevent the abuse of AoEs every 5 seconds or at least stay alive. Ok, Ogre starts his AoE BS...I move out of range. I begin casting cure 3 on the tank, it goes off. Ogre turns to me and AoEs. I die. Take 2, same thing, only I let the THM use Sac 2 while I nuke. Why u QQ'in bro?The update was awesome, but it had some severe bad sides and a few other things that need tweaking.
1) Cure MP costs. They are much too high and before anyone says "But 11's were high!" yeah, but a cure 3 wasn't 135MP
2) Raises need to be on separate timers. What's the point of having 4 different types of raises, as a CON, if we can only use 2?
3) Stats need enhancing. Aside from VIT and MND, they do next to nothing.
4) Gear damage from death needs to be abolished or reduced. Every dungeon run, I come out with at least 3 pieces of broken gear. This is unacceptable considering people want close to 10k to repair something...

6) Enmity needs to be fixed. The current system is severely flawed. A GLA used 3 vokes and a couple of WS on a mob, I cure 3'd once...mob turned around and bam, 1 shot.
I think the response from the people who are good at the game(Not me im bad at this game) is "Learn 2 Play"
I have 8 crafts at 50. All I did was watch T.V. and spam standard for easy mode synths. Enjoy leveling those crafts in 1.19 and beyond everyone!

Hey bro the patch is awsome BUT the dungeon needs some nerf and the ONLY problems with the patch are issues effecting the class I play everything else is perfect except the nerfs to mages. surely sounds like you are mad....U MAD BRO?
