Unless I've missed something, there's 0 evidence that having a room prevents you from being kicked.
Just that while you have a room you cannot manually leave your current FC. That's what's been specified every time - nothing about it's impact on being forcibly removed by Company leaders.
EDIT: Apparently it was added in the full version of the patch notes. My apologies.
I still say it's shitty behaviour from your FC though.

The patch notes certainly sound that way, they say a person with a personal room cannot be "discharged", that's not a term you generally use when you are talking about a person leaving voluntarily.Unless I've missed something, there's 0 evidence that having a room prevents you from being kicked.

Then why does your leader keep everyone from buying a chamber ? Some of you are trustworthy I hope, create a "trial period" after which people can buy rooms.
Work it out together ^^

Well there's always the option of creating a rank that restricts house access to people they think might become a problem.
How do you even begin to predict something like that? I've personally seen players who were awesome, contributing members go total nerd rage over losing a roll on something. Never saw it coming - but there it is. This isn't about FC's controlling their members, it's about FC's controlling their FREE COMPANY and protecting the OTHER members from 1 person's unanticipated nonsense. This whole thing is just a TERRIBLE idea. Personal housing should have nothing at all to do with the FC. At all. Period. This way EVERYONE can enjoy it, and leadership don't have yet another hoop to jump through when managing their FC.
