No, I can see the reasoning why my FC is doing it and it isn't malicious, they just don't want to be stuck with asshats they can't kick. Had SE done it a better way, it would have never been an issue, so I blame them more.

Unless I've missed something, there's 0 evidence that having a room prevents you from being kicked.

Just that while you have a room you cannot manually leave your current FC. That's what's been specified every time - nothing about it's impact on being forcibly removed by Company leaders.

The patch notes certainly sound that way, they say a person with a personal room cannot be "discharged", that's not a term you generally use when you are talking about a person leaving voluntarily.
