It takes too many clicks to assign a venture, need "repeat previous venture" button

So after my retainers complete a venture, I have to:

1. click summoning bell
2. Click retainer name
3. Retainer says some words, click to continue
4. Click on venture report
5. Click confirm
6. Retainer says some words, click to continue
7. Click assign venture
8. Click category (ie. hunting)
9. Click level range
10. Click on the item to gather
11. Click the Assign button
12. Retainer says some words, click to continue
13. Click quit.

And then do this like 3 more times for 52 clicks in total. That's a lot of clicks, and it's not including sometimes forgetting what level range certain items are found at.

I suggest an extra option "Repeat venture" on the venture report at click 4. So click 5 would be "repeat venture", 6 would be accept, 7 would be some words from the retainer, 8 would be quit. This also removes the frustration of searching for the thing I'm trying to gather from the level list again. Like I get the level range for fleece wrong all the time.

I also suggest that on the retainer's option list, when you click quit it shouldn't exit you from the retainer bell but should go back to the "Select retainer" list to click on a retainer name. That saves another extra click when moving between retainers and avoids that little lag each time I click on the retainer bell that is kinda frustrating.

Really, it seems like a reasonable request. If you added a "repeat?" button with 6 confirmations, it's more convenient than the current system.....and that's sad.

You left out the "Summon Retainer" click in between those two. (Unless you've never unlocked the aesthetician. Once he can be summoned as well, there's one step for whether to summon a retainer or the aesthetician, and then another for which retainer to summon. I still don't understand why it doesn't just show everyone we can summon in that first list.)

But anyway, yes, I agree that your Repeat Venture option would be a nice convenience.

The aesthetician option only pops up in the inn for me. Though, I don't use my inn since they moved the resting bonus for this reason, it would be nice for them to merge them. Also, the exit to retainer selection would be awesome instead of having to re-click the bell. In cities people stand right on top of them and PC's have selection priority for some reason... (why?!)

I would also like to add, I use the escape key to leave menus or go to the current menu's parent (venture window back to retainer window, for example). However, escape cannot close the retainer's dialog bubble. Why not? FFXI was too much keyboard and not enough mouse, FFXIV is the exact opposite. C'mon guys :/

This seems like a solid idea to me. Just this morning I was wishing there were a more user friendly way of dealing with retainers. I only have two, yet it still gets annoying sometimes having to make so many button presses for a seemingly simple action. A 'repeat venture' button would be greatly appreciated. P.S. My first post

Yes for repeating the last venture and a big phat Yes to choose a different retainer when you are done with one of them. The level of micro managment and click orgy for retainer business is an overload.
