Cross Bar Tank: Paladin macro tips?!

I'm not a seasoned player. Since the beginning this whole time I've been utilizing the cross bar and keep only the primary 16 skills in cross bar. I recently realized I macro and dual ability certain skill slots only when I need it.

Example:
/micon "Shield Swipe"
/ac "Shield Swipe" <t>
/ac "Riot Blade" <t>

This way I can use shield swipe freely whenever it is up but if I was low on mana I don't have to switch cross bar or dedicate a slot to riot blade I can just fast blade> riot blade using macro shield swipe resulting in riot blade. Swipe only works when up or active of course but riot blade is defaulted.

Has anyone else tried this or did I just not look hard enough for the preexisting thread?

I also do it for mercy stroke/cover since mercy stroke is primarily situational.
Also I use it for shield lob/provoke.

Any others suggestions?

I macro together Awareness/Foresight and Fight or Flight/Bloodbath.

Aware/Fore are both pretty bad, by combining the badness I get a meh skill.
FoF/Bloodbath work really well together IMHO.
