i would love to see yall recreate the Colosseum from final fantasy 3, with rewards like large sums of gil from 2k for low tier fights to 100k for top tier fights. would like to see unique glamour costumes and mounts like ulturos people who dont win rolls on the drops should get tokens for the win and be able to buy the drops with the tokens. unique items for decor in the gc house and private rooms . heck even accessories theway they should be, with effects like hp and mana regen, haste and double attack etc. The nostalgia would be astounding.

the possibilities are honestly endless with this sort of thing, yall made housing too expensive and have not really done anything drastic to reduce the prices, not all of us are crafters or want to be. we need a way to make gil to. 59 mill for a house is ridiculous but this would make it less ridiculous. i think it would be fun anyway.

The trouble is, when you have a piece of content that gives high gil rewards, the risk is there for someone to inevitably abuse it (such as through a hack or bot), especially by RMT. Much of FFXIV's design has been deliberately to try to avoid abuse by hackers and RMT, with arguable levels of success. So your idea sadly will probably never be possible for that reason alone.

Having said that, I wish the Colosseum in Ul'dah was open to player vs npc battles, like it was during the GLA quest line in version 1.0. It just looks pointless having this big fancy arena and not doing anything with it.

Yes, when I started FFXIV they ask use a question, and Coil is the only way to gain power, but wealth, is through trade. But I am just a warrior who weapon grows dull on the back of week enemies.

That being said, Wolf's Den is lonely, and more arena must open up. We could have Solo and Duo events, and people from all around can stand around the ring and watch 2 player fight in live combat. "Are, you not entertained!"
