OMG please remove some of the aetherytes, the world feels tiny

I know this topic has been discussed before, but I was wondering if opinion has changed.

I was looking through a list of upcoming changes, (both confirmed and just things that Yoshi stated he would like to do) and came across flying mounts. What purpose would this serve if normal mounts already feel purely cosmetic and pointless as a means of travel? The world feels so small and uninteresting because I can teleport anywhere I want within seconds.

What is your opinion on the removal of some aetherytes in order to make us explore, and get more use out of our mounts? Thanks in advance

They included a thing about mounts having mount specific actions in the 2.3 (pre) update log. So, we'll get more use out of our mounts.

I think the feeling of a small world should be fixed by making the world bigger. I imagine things will expand with time.

I use my mounts plenty (well, mainly my coeurl). But that's because I rarely teleport because I'm a cheap bastard.

I totally agree that simply making the world bigger would/could have the same effect, but I somehow see SE placing a ton of new aetherytes in the new zones as well.

Or we could just don't use the aetherytes. Why force people to do what you like, when you already can do it yourself? I almost never use aetherytes (mostly because I'm damn cheap, really).

But you could not teleport there from anywhere.

And this was a good concept. One Aetheryte per zone is definitely enough.
