I have to agree, the gardening additions are frustrating to say the least - Minions, foods, broom materials, people's housing wishes, etc. This is too much considering the time, effort, and money involved in gardening as is, let alone with all this new stuff. Honestly I'm shaking my head SE...

Just growing a glazenut, from the base seeds for crossbreeding to finished product can take about 2+ weeks depending on how much fertilizer they get. Thats a pretty damn long time to make a broom without shelling out the cash for a glazenut, which will probably go up from its 500k price in Adamantoise.

My FC has a small house, one plot to garden in, and I also want to grow other things than chocobo food. x.x Wish you could have a garden in your personal room.
I am seriously hoping there will be some changes in 2.35 or 2.4 to make this happen. Even with "Intercrossing" being changed (hopefully for the better) I still cant see a single 8-slot garden being enough for anyone but one person. I already yielded the gardening slots to my hubby since he crafts more than I do but I still want to use gardening more too.

2.38, I think

Well, there was that snippet about intercrossing being changed some. Maybe glazenuts and broombrushes are going to easier to cultivate now.
So in other words, something else XI did better. I think in their path to "being as different from XI as possible" they seem to forget that XI did certain aspects so much better they seemed to step backwards rather that forwards in regards.

Keep in mind this is Chocobo raising, not breeding. Dear Altana... I mean Nophica... please let breeding be far, far better thought out then this.
*taps fingers on desk waiting for servers up so she can get some facts*
