A request for the fishing log

When we start fishing at a hole the Japanese client says
"ニム川で釣りを始めました" (Now began fishing at Nym River)

Meanwhile the English counterpart says
"You cast your line"


Where am I casting my line? I'd like to know! Certain fishing spots are close to each other and while you may think you will be fishing in one, you're fishing in another. Unfortunately you will never know in the English client. So if you guys could ninja add this to the next QOL fix that would be great!

I'm surprised to hear of this... but maybe not...

I really don't understand the English Localization team's rationale behind leaving out useful location information in the English client.

Take, for instance, the location menu for city aetherytes. Labels for city exits used to NOT show the destination [e.g. "White Wolf Gate" instead of "White Wolf Gate (Central Shroud)"]. Other locales have had this information shown for a long while. It took the English team almost ten months to add it despite it being requested multiple times.

Don't get me wrong, I do appreciate what the team has done for the English-language players as a whole, but this issue highlighted by the OP seems to show a gross simplification of the localization effort. Is this done to save time?

Sigh, anyway yes, I too would like for our English client to show "You cast your line at Nym River".
