Launcher not remembering username/password

So I'm having the same issue as the link above, but in my case there's no 4 hour limit, and I don't use IE (I use Chrome) or have anything setup that should be clearing my cache/cookies/history or anything.

I don't own the game through Steam. My machine is running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit SP1 if that helps.

Any ideas?

try to check if you are navigating in private session by default. That was my issue long ago with firefox, and now it's all good.

(private sessions tend not to remember anything after closing >_> )

Well, I choose to keep track of my history and things for archiving when I forget things later. I don't browse in Incognito mode by default, so I dunno.

Nothing in my Internet Explorer options indicates that thing are clearing either...

Password is never remembered, only Username.

Username being cleared is caused by changes to how IE10 and newer handle cookies
Open the Internet Explorer options and select the Privacy tab
Click the sites button.
Enter 'square-enix.com' and click allow.

your username will no longer be cleared.
