Meteor Survivors List

When I first completed the main scenario and watched the end credits, when it got to the Meteor Survivors list, my first instinct when looking at it was that it was to recognize the avatar names of those who completed the game. However, I noticed that even though I have completed the game with multiple avatars, none of their names appear in the list of Meteor Survivors.

Is the list intended for what I thought it was or does it have a different purpose?

The meteor survivors list was for 1.0 players who specifically signed up to a website to be put in the credits. It is not a list of people who have finished the MSQ.

Yup, only 1.0 players show up on that list, most of us put our real names there, some put the avatar or nicknames and some even put random stuff XD

The Meteor Survivors List is the result of something SE did for players that paid at least 90 days of subscription back in 2012 when Version 1 of the game was still active. That 90 days of paid subscription got players a "Legacy" status. That status enable them to sign up at the publicized time to get their names in the credits of Version 2 (ARR). There were other things also done for players with this status including a permanent discount on subscriptions to Version 2.

It is a fixed list now. It's all based on play of Version 1 which is now no longer active at all.

I met all the reqs for 1.0 survivor thing and then some. I wasn't in the list or I didn't see it. I was a little sad.

It wasn't automatic, you had to qualify for Legacy first of all. Then you had to actually sign up and put your chosen name in.

You not only had to meet the requirements, you had to sign up for it and put the name you wanted to be displayed.

Did you go through all the steps SE mentioned on the Lodestone to get your name there? If you didn't tell them you wanted your name there and what to use you didn't get on the list.
