The OP posted on this forum without me seeing them move, and they keep posting, therefore im assuming the OP is a bot.

I will make another thread about this, before I ride my mighty steed across the fields and plains of London town, and have at the Square Enix offices with my mighty megaphone of justice!

Ban the bots, ban the bots, nerf the druids, mages are OP, weeee shall not, we shall not be moved!

The killing bots are in full swing right now due to that being the ONLY way to rank up in this game. That and players quitting.

If they are following someone it means that someone is at the computer. If someone is at the computer GMs can do *nothing* about it. The terms of service forbid bots, not multiboxing.

If a GM contacts a suspected bot and someone responds, the GM has no proof that he's RMT or a botter, and he has to move on. It's that simple.

I didn't read all the messages here, but I saw a lot of : There are bots in every games, get used to them. Sorry, but even if there are some on every games, bots, goldseller, ... Generally they try to hide, or to be discret, because if they are caught they are banned (even on Free-To-Play mmorpg it's the case). Here, I go at an aetherite (any aetherite), I can see at least 20 lalafels, in starting gear, waiting while an high level character do their levequests. In a game we pay every month for, it's simply not acceptable I'm sorry. You say that GMs can't do anything, I think they are told to do nothing, because those bots, multiboxer, gillselers, ... represent at least 25 % of the population. There was a lot of them before the monthly paiement, but now it's even worst. I think if after 2.0 Square Enix does nothing about them, they will loose the real players, and the gilsellers who won't have any clients anymore.
Also, some of you seems to say that they get banned. Honestly, I don't think so, because if they got banned, it would be very simple to track them from the beginning of their leveling and get rid off them at that moment, a simple database transaction to see which ip address have 6 or 7 account connected at the same time.
Square Enix did a lot of mistakes on FFXIV, but they could at least fix this one before it get very bad.

PS : Maybe if they were deleted, there wouldn't be the problem which forbid players to create characters on some of the servers.

I knew this would happen after I figured out the date (saw it 1 hour after posting). Was looking for a post about bots on FFXIV since I wanted to know what was planned / said about this plague on this game, and it's the most recent post I saw it seems. So I think I will forget about this problem, since noone gives a fuck about it (and since it's only getting worst).
