aw... how lame. it used to be so much fun when we could double-dip spells during UI/AF phase changes. They "fixed" it. later on, it was fun to do infinite flare. And now they "fixed" it again.
They have made BLM a boring job all over again, now.
idk i found flare>flare>transpose to get kind of boring after a while. Now we'll actually get some use out of f2 and have a slightly more dynamic rotation, albeit with less pretty lights. I get why people preferred infinite flare, but the intended rotation is pretty sweet as well. At least try one dungeon or something before making sweeping and subjective proclamations on behalf of all black mages.

double flare is just one of the case. there are quite a few moves that can be used with the mp tick trick, though, most ppl probably found it useless. It was fun to play with it in my opinion at least. All in all, they have taken something that has already been there (working as intended or not) from us. That obviously makes the Job less interesting.
Agreed. Every other DPS class can still dps while moving. I love BLM but its not my main specifically because in fights that require constant movement it is just not very feasible. The added damage that blm can probably wont completely fill that gap but its something.I COMPLETELY disagree. I worked my butt off to lvl up BLM as it is my main, I have an animus and ilvl 96 so far. And what happened when coil T6+ was released? Suddenly no one wanted BLM as much in their groups. Why is that? Because unlike ALL of the other dps classes, we're the most immobile class. So I WELCOME this Single Target buff.
No way is BLM now WAY too powerful. I'm really enjoying the power boost, though I miss my mana tick manipulation.
