Used Cascadier Uniform Voucher on wrong item, how screwed am I?

So I got my Cascadier ticket because my sub renewed, and in my yayness, thought that the Black Summer Top was for female characters. Now this is a problem, as I am a lovely little Miqo'te lass. Is there a way to change this to the female bottom? I tried calling a GM, but that was over 24 hours ago and no response.

I think they are adding the ability to exchange gendered items to the calamity salvager in the patch. At least for event items, but I would think they'd add the reward items too.

From the 2.3 patch notes:

The Calamity Salvager NPC has been changed as follows:

Gender-specific gear introduced during seasonal and collaboration events can now be exchanged for gear of the opposite gender.

There's no reason to assume that won't also be true of the voucher token, so good news! You only have to wait another day.

Contact a GM. I made the same mistake(before the shop was improved) and was given the swim suit reflecting my gender, I even got to keep the original. The GM also told me that it would NOT use up my one time restoration request!

Why is it even possible to get a gender-locked item for the wrong gender? Seems kind of silly to be able to purchase something you can't use.

Sorry to bump this, but just wanted to give an update.

The Calamity Salvager does not have an offer for top to bottom. I also received this reply from SE, though it was from email support rather than in-game:

We understand that you are reaching out to the GM team for assistance,in regards to the Cascadier Uniform but unfortunately we are unable to address your request as it falls outside the scope of our services as we are only able to trade the female top for male top and female bottom for male bottom but not cross exchange. For a list of issues that GMs are able to assist with, please visit our support site at http://support.na.square-enix.com, choose FINAL FANTASY XIV and review the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ). You then can click on In Game and then select Game Master Services to review commonly asked questions. You may also use the Search feature to find possible resolutions to your request.

So...it looks like I'm just screwed now. I'm disappointed.

Yeah, but it still sucks to use an item given for being a subscriber on the wrong thing.
