Am I screwed with Elite Marks (hunt)

Which reminds me, I know a lot of players have been concerned this will be like back in the day, where one player or party would claim an enemy, and lock everyone else out from getting a reward. You'll be happy to know that the Hunt was not designed with any such claiming system in mind. In fact, some of the elite marks are so powerful, it would be in your best interest to shout for help before trying to lay a hand on them. I've also heard the more elusive elite marks drop rare items as well. These rare items are distributed on a player-by-player basis, so don't hesitate to reach for a helping hand.

So as I understand this
- there will be 1 notorious monster for elite bills in the world
- When People find him, they shout for help and kill him asap and get the reward
- ??? time for it to respawn or no respawn for a week ???


The fact is that when servers go up tuesday, that mark will be killed in a matter of minutes on each servers. What will happen then???? I'm able to log on 2-3 hours a day, will I ever be able to participate in the elite hunt??? If there is a respawn timer for elite marks, it will be killed in a matter of second too when it respawn so if I am in a dungeon / offline /afk, what will happen??

My worry is : I am screwed with these elite hunts????

no dw, hunts are done in ranks and the ones you get for weekly should be low ranking so you should be good.

but at the same time i can't say 100% it will be, this could go horrible wrong and just end up a mess.

It won't be something people can camp...it's more like you have to be dedicated to finding and understanding them. Keywords "finding & understanding"

just don't expect to find them the first day
they want you to explore...it won't be something you can understand the first hour you log in

Give it time

Either way I wouldn't worry about getting "camped out" of hunts. They will for sure respawn that very same day. Just a matter of understanding their conditions and moving around.

The elite marks are elite NM's that spawn on some timer. Once each week one of them is given a bounty on its head. It isn't only going to spawn once. You can kill it multiple times for its normal drops/seals, but only get the bounty once a week. That is what this sounds like.
