    So in the letter, it says that we will get Allied Marks from Elite Hunts, as well as from killing the ACTUAL Elite Marks...
    So he's basically saying that if we choose to, we can farm/grind out Allied Marks, and use them to buy Sands/Oils/Unidentified to our heart's, and schedule's content?

    Sounds like it. I get the feeling it won't be something that's easy to grind though, since the "conditions" will surely be more than just a timer... such as game day, weather, number of a certain placeholder killed, etc. Also I don't think you can get Unidentifed Allagan Tomestones, just Sand/Oil and Alexandrites, but double-check the patch notes.
