    FFXIV Fanfest digital ticket?

I know a large number of us can not make it to the events in person, but still would like to see whats going on and, of course, would like some loot~!
Is there any chance for a digital ticket, similar to how Blizzard does with their fan convention BlizzCon?

Doubt it, I think they would have announced it by now and you could do that. Would be cool though. I could sit at home and chill while staring at yoshi-p >:|
This event seems pretty exclusive to me though. The amount of tickets don't seem like they will be too much even for the people attending. Oh wells. :< I'll take pictures for eye ETONE!

They've said just having a ticket won't be enough to get the goods, you actually have to be there in person.

If you are interested in the actual events occurring, I'm sure there will be a lot of fan coverage and possibly even some press coverage (maybe). They'll also likely release any ultra cool videos they present, and possibly even do a Live Letter AT the festival (like E3, for example). I recall back when ARR was first launching, there was some sort of Ifrit hybrid fight at a convention (somewhere between normal and hard mode) where you won a t-shirt if you beat it within a certain amount of time... that was broadcast by SE; I watched it. So, for people at home, I'm sure you'll get to see some pretty cool stuff... you won't get any of the goodies though. For me, I'm most interested in meeting like-minded people who clearly love this game as much as I do, trying new content before it's released (maybe) and seeing if there is any cooperative OR PvP competitions (like fighting the primals for a t-shirt, or a small arena-style tournament).

It was Titan, PAX Prime, and I did win one of those shirts.
My point is: Blizzard gives their fans the in game items as well as a front row seat (digitally). It'd be snazzy if SE did the same thing.
I'm also ONLY talking about the in game items. I'd adore being able to go, but that is a few grand out of pocket for me. Sure I'd love to meet my FC friends, but that isn't what I'm posting about. @___@

Blizzard does the digital stuff because Blizzcon is on like 5 different levels than other conferences. It involves 3 (will be 4 since hearthstone now) monster games each with playerbase bigger than FFXIV i'd think.

Not to mention when it early days of WoW there was no digital for multiple years.

If I were to bet on it, you might see a stream from future fan fest. SE will probably want to see how popular fan fest is this year before taking on the financial obligation of partnership and setting up a live stream.
