I Am SO about this life when I get home from work and all weekend !!So far I've killed about 25 marks in a hunt pt. Maxed sold and got about 1600 or so myth in just a few hours. 285ish allied seals. The hunt board is crap. You only get 1-3 seals per. And B ranked give 5 seals, A ranked give 20. Along with 80 myth. Easiest myth ever. Better than titan on low roulette. No more mythflox! EVER!!!
Has anyone found out how you trigger the spawn of S-Rank Mobs?
Let's just take Garlok in Costa del Sol for example.
The hunter is talking about a cavern (which is probably the one named as Garlok's Lair on the map) and that he is sleeping there.
The hunter is also saying something about Torches and Arrows, so I was wondering if I could get him to spawn when I'm shooting Flaming Arrows with my Bard inside the cavern, but nothing happened.
I didn't get any other people to help me with this and I'm not even sure if this is right or wrong, but since the S-Rank mobs information read like some kind of riddle, I thought that you need to trigger or do something specific so that they spawn.
Was wondering if anyone has already managed to spawn/slay a S-Rank mob~
I don't know if there really are spawn condition or trigger. It may just be random.
Now, see, if this were a Zelda game, I'd suggest shooting through a lit torch to light the unlit torches, possibly in a specific order, and timed. However, since this is Final Fantasy, I'd say you'd have to go on some sort of fetch-quest to get special arrows to light the torches. But that's in a normal FF game. So, considering this is neither Zelda nor a normal FF...I'd have to say it probably requires special triggers that are broken due to the patch not getting the proper QA before it was pushed out the door.
Would be sad if those triggers were broken though.
There is one S-Rank mob where I'd say that it's pretty obvious what you need to do:
Name: Nunyunuwi
Location: Southern Thanalan somewhere near Qarn probably
Scholar-Hunter description:
The large population of golems in southern Thanalan is ascribed by mainstream historians to the mages of Belah'dia, who made the sturdy guardian for the protection of the Temple of Qarn.
Among these sad remnants of a civilization lost to time, Nunyunuwi stands out for his exceptional size and stealth.
At rest, he vanishes into the landscape of tors and boulders. Only a sizable battle will rouse the stone soldier to his ancient duty: to fight to the death.
There is a Fate spawning near the entrance of Qarn, where you have to kill several Golems to complete it if I'm not mistaken, so I think the spawn-trigger will have something to do with that and probably the amount of players participating in the Fate.
But that's just a speculation from my side >_<
So you can for example just kill Naul over and over again and keep getting allied seals even if your mark is already done for the week?So far I've killed about 25 marks in a hunt pt. EVER!!!
Yeah, but naul is only rank B, so worth 5 seals, and naul is heavily camped. Best to have 8 ppl running all over everywhere searching for B's and A's.
The Garlok spawns near Costa because of a certain lala.
Idk about the riddles after killing 9 S rank it seems to spawn randomly in its window regardless of what I did. Also seeing that 5 of them I killed back to back almost just seemed to reassure me that the conditions mean nothing...
