Getting Back Into the Game!

So right after the Easter Event, it seemed like most of my friends kind of dropped out of the game, and instead of trying to persevere alone, I gave in, and went on a hiatus as well, not knowing if I'd ever come back to the game before a real expansion.

So after a couple of months of playing D&D and competitive Pokémon, my friends drop me a line, saying that not only have they returned to Eorzea, but that great things are happening. Initially, I resisted the pull, but as of last night, I'm re-subbed, and back in!

I haven't paid the slightest amount of attention to what these "great things" are that are happening yet and I've yet to do any research on the matter, but all I know is, I'm glad to be back! And I'm ready to start getting back into the game

Yes indeed . Pokémon has a very large professional competitive circuit. An astounding amount of folks my age (25 and above) play religiously and competitively. As a mater of fact, the Nationals Tournament just wrapped up yesterday haha!

Lalafells have taken over everywhere. They and their "servants" are running everything in game.

If someone told you to do ATMA , don't do it. If a lalafell offer advice, say no. If some one else that ain't a lalafell telling you to do ATMA and FATES, avoid them.

To the OP: Welcome Back! I too am back from a hiatus and find even just the little quality of life changes to be enough to keep me interested. I love the Hildebrand quests and I'm having fun with my FC mates who also decided to come back. Really excited for 2.4 and the Ninja.

There have been tons of new features since you've left. I'd highly recommend browsing through all of the patch notes. It would be very difficult for us to detail everything better than that.
