Jobs use the same weapon type as their base class. However, "dual blades" doesn't necessarily = daggers, although daggers would fall into that category, so there are potentially lots of other kinds of shorter bladed weapons Ninja could use.

I'm very happy with the removal of GLD/PLD Daggers. They just look... weird with a shield.
