T1 Coil Drops

Can anyone explain to me why DRG cannot "NEED" on the Allagan Striking Bracelet/Ring in Turn One?

Ive Completed T1 over 30 times and i have the legs which are awesome and also the tassets and chest which i dont use because the myth gear is better; so i continue to queue up for turn 1 to get the accessories; but i can't get them.
Perfect example today; finally got the bracelets to drop but the monk in our group needed them and i can only greed them. Do i have to run with a static to get them? Reason why?

they are actually monk gear, but since monk is also strength based, they have str on them just like the Drgs maiming accessories. And, since any class can equip any accessory, they are interchangeable, however, drgs can need on maiming, monks can need on striking. Slaying accessories, like the garuda ring, can be needed by both.

Maiming is actually better then Striking on a MNK, but doesn't change the point that only DRG can Need on Maiming. Thankfully Slaying accessories are now in SCoB

ok so unless I'm hell bent on getting the striking i better just move on down the coil? Sounds good, i was getting darn frustrated...would like to ditch the dark light and really want to use the acc from striking ring but rng could take forever...

I had this same problem. Took me forever to get the striking bracelet for my DRG. Honestly, the quickest way to do it may be to set up a party finder and lock that item, or find some friends willing to pass on it and farm with them.

Wish you were on Sarg, I'd be happy to help as I never mind doing Coil turns (need 67 more lol).

If you ever find yourself running the same fight over and over and over and over, at least try and ask the party if you can get that specific item in exchange for passing on everything else. By now you could have probably just bought myth and/or soldiery junk and moved on with life, unless you really need these pieces for a specific gear set.

I know I personally didn't want to invest myth in a drg accessory because I'm completing Curtana/Holy Shield Novus atm. Now that I'm done with my noct set, my soldiery is getting poured into my scholar. Spending tomes just wasn't an option for me so... T1 spam ftw. Amusingly enough, I ended up getting the bracelet in a run that I tanked. x3

Yeah I really wanted the acc on the ring and upgrade the wrists so I could quit using the atma and weild the weathered liberator.... Also saving the myth for animus books so guess I'm trying to be frugal
