lost strength on miner

For some reason, the strength on my miner dropped to 200. I didn't notice til the other day when I was gathering Cobalt Ore for my Grand Company provisioning turn in and the node that lets you have an extra attempt with 202 strength did not grant me that extra attempt. Has anyone else encountered this?

I know this might seem obvious, but could it be because your gear is broken? If it's not optimal, your stats get effected.

Are you sure you had it to begin with? Like me, you are a Keeper of the Moon Miqo’te. We are born with 2 less strength than normal, see:



While the stat differences between races are minor (Max of 3), it can affect those nodes where the bonus effect is based on stats. You may also find yourself one INT short of getting the extra gather on Botanist at Forgotten Springs. It is a pet peeve of mine.

If you have sufficient Gathering and Perception to get max rate on gather chance and HQ (100% and 15%) then swap out a GP accessory for a STR one to get the stats for that node.

Ugh, you're right Magnesium, I just used a Fantasia and swapped to this race from Hyur Midlander...which is exactly the 3 strength I lost :\
