IdI'dlove if it's Alexander, (Ishgard) and when you beat him you get an Alexander primal.... I'd never change out of smn... If I get Alexander.... Game over. And Alexander showed bahamut who's boss in ffix

Ishgard gets my vote for being Alexander or at least part of it, also when we eventually delve deeper into garlean territory , maybe we will find a stronghold that's alex, I think it's guaranteed he will make an appearance, be it good or bad.
My money is that the end of 2. Going into expansion will have alex save us from bahamut, as they hinted the bridge between em will be similar to 1.0-2.0

Alexander could be within Garlemald. I have often thought that, considering their aptitude for technology, and the way that Alexander is traditionally designed to be a moving castle (hence the technology).

I think it would be awesome if Alexander is in Garlemald, and would be interesting if they summon Alexander to defeat Bahamut. The turn of events that could lead to that eventuality would indeed be interesting.

Nope, definitely not, because the game's lore specifically says so - Limsa Lominsa especially, as it is built around the wreck of a giant ship called the Galdion (i.e. - the Mizzenmast Inn is so called because it was constructed from hollowing out the Galdion's actual mizzenmast!), Ishgard is clearly a stone citadel built on a crag, and Garlemald, well, really Garlemald would probably be the most likely to feature it.

But as the Primals are beings made of aether and not constructed, I really doubt Alexander will ever actually appear as a 'Primal' here, and is more likely to be a generic enemy (like Diabolos at the end of Lost City of Amdapor).
