New Fate ATMA theory! ^_^

Hello all atma hunters I have been looking up atma locations and theory's and what not. With that I pretty much came up with nothing besides everyone still running around doing random fates. Now I have concluded a theory of my own, and my theory seems to be working So far. My theory is this: (( YOU DO NOT GET ATMA FROM RANDOM FATES!)), I repeat WILL NOT get atma from random fates so stop running around)) this was a fake theory anxious atma hunters both American and Japanese both came up with. THE TRUTH IS THE ATMA WILL ONLY DROP FROM IT'S CORESPONDING FATE. Example: (atma of the lions) WILL DROP ONLY FROM FATE BOSS COREUL IN OUTER COSCEA NO OTHER FATE, stop doing random's cause its wasteing your time you need to camp that specific fate, now what is true is that the drop is extremely low regardless and what I have come to learn is that how many people doing this fate will effect the drop as well.

Nidge is 100% correct. I got 3 Atma of the Scorpion, and NONE, I repeat NONE of them came from the same fate. I just ran fates to get stuff out of my way or because I was ticked because I was stuck and people just ran by me while I was doing my Beast Tribe quests for the Amaalj'a. Three Atmas, three different fates.

I also got 2 Atmas of the Maiden, and they came from two fates while I was helping a friend farm HIS atmas. Got the first one... Yeah! Helping friend, different fate, got the second same day.

Got all 12, and the only one that I got from the fate that I hoped it would drop was the Crab from a crab. That was it.

This is a cool idea, and I kind of wish that it was this way - but there is plenty of evidence that it is not.

It would make sense, because each zone has a big boss FATE that seems to correspond to the Atma of that zone (Atma of the Crab, Atma of the Scales, etc). So it would be cool if you could just fight that boss, get your Atma, and move on to the next one.

That would be so much more fun, just going across all the areas again, fighting all the big FATEs, get all your stuff, and come out with a sick upgrade in the end.

But it's not so, it's a brutal and heartless system that doesn't care about the enjoyment of the player at all.

how are you for sure I mean almost every atma I have gotten it was from a boss fate and it matched the atma. just saying for people out there running around with doing randoms I believe there is a better way to farm atma.

Nidge don’t be so fast to disregard what Sorahu(I know his /your name doesn’t have a capitalize S but its a name so I put one)is saying. Quick to hear , slow to speak and slow to anger James 1:19. Its sounds true and looks like Sorahu has tested it. My thing is camping ALL day at one fate for a LOW drop rate. Too bad their isn’t a alert in game or a app on iPhone to tell you Fate "such and such" is up!!

ok another way to discredit my theory is has anyone gotten a lot of anime from non boss fates? if I'm correct most all if not All atma you have collected have come from a boss fate

boss fates? maybe. a certain fate? no. i can tell you right now, i got mine from The Miner in the Mirror fate in outer la noscea, so therefore, you're theory is automatically flawed. However, while i think i recall getting atmas from non boss fates, i can't say for sure, and as such, won't disagree with you there.

another example: atma of the bull I found in mid noscea I got from bull like boss fate (( cant remember of the mob off top of head sorry)) I have also noticed Japanese players running around doing random fates less and less and focusing on more one or two fate bosses, I mean really think about it, it kinda does make sense instead of just running around and doing random fates the only thing that makes this theory hard to believe is the actual drop rates of the atma, no matter what you do the drop rate is extremely low period. in the last 3 days I have farmed 7 atma following this theory

I can't recall many specifics beyond the fact that I got them mostly "kill a bunch of monsters" fates. The only one I remember specifically was the Southern Thanalan Atma, which I got from the fate where you escort the Flame Scout to Little Ala Mihgo. I don't remember getting a single one from bosses, though it's been a while so maybe 1 or 2.
