This game's "difficulty" is almost entirely based on twitch reaction mechanics, with no in-between result: either you are clear, or you are dead, and the server decides this regardless of what your client shows you.
This is the worst design possible to handle lag/latency.
Heck, even Yoshida admitted that it was more difficult when he went to Australia and played the game there.
The only reason why this issue is "null" is because those suffering from it either have left or adapted.
Just because you can adapt to a problem doesn't negate the existence of the problem. Even if the game can be cleared in spite of this, doesn't mean it is not an issue.
I remember the 100 plus page lag thread from the beginning of the game. I wonder where all those players went???
