Echo for EX and Coils, wtf?

For noob content, I think having the game basically hand you victory's is OK (I still don't like it, but I can tolerate it). However for content that's supposed to be truly endgame and a challenge, I really feel like the echo is pretty horrible.

I haven't gotten through all the end game stuff yet (only started 2 weeks ago). But I remember when I did titan HM, it was a fun fight, I was just with some pugs, we wiped a couple times but were making progress, nobody seemed to be getting annoyed. Then the echo kicked in, and we won easily. Mostly because we got better sure, but I really felt robbed to be honest, It's not as if the fight is even hard, but being able to advance just because the game basically decided after just a few mins to hand you a crutch is annoying.

I would be fine with the Echo if triggering it was optional and would result in no advancement, achievements, or items. It would then have a semi legit use for practice.

Do gamers these days really have no pride?

First of all, it far from "hands it to them". Second, not everyone wants to be an asshole elitist. Thirdly, this game should be playable for everyone. Not just you and your standards. The option to turn Echo off is there. Stop trying to insult other players and use it if you wish.

The game is playable as it is. If you're constantly failing content, its not too hard, you just suck. Point, blank, period. I feel echo is nothing but a crutch that too many players fall back on. PT dies over and over and theres always that 1 person thats like "Don't worry guys we got echo, we will win." Bad players keep being bad, and echo reinforces that.

You're forgetting also that people with disabilities play this game and, for whatever reason, they may not possess the same reaction time "skills" that you do.

Stupidity is not a disability. And how does slow reaction times have any effect on your ability to properly perform mechanics. The fights in this game are completely scripted. For those lacking the intelligence to figure that out. You know whats coming before it happens if your not lazy.

I am sad because fights that used to be fun are no longer fun. I don't know what is so hard to understand about that.
