I have no idea why would a dps need macro. Tank can use macro for provoke and other stuff to warn party members of what he's gonna do. Healer can use some macros, but dps just kill stuff, avoid aoe and pay attention to what tank and healer are macroing.
I use macros to tell the party I used silence(was essential in coil) and another to pop all my buffs as BRD. So much faster to macro my buffs and I don't actually lose valuable seconds on my buffs like I would if I tried popping the buffs individually.
I don't remember about the blunt arrow macro, I just pull it off my memory though I no longer use it for far longer than I can remember. But I do use a new macro for my WAR like this:
/micon Berserk
/ac Berserk <me>
/ac Berserk <me>
/p Berserk をします!
/p Berserk used! <se.2><se.2> <wait.17>
/p time remaining : 3 second <se.1> <wait.1>
/p time remaining : 2 second <se.1> <wait.1>
/p time remaining : 1 second <se.1> <wait.1>
/p Esuna/ Leeches, Please use it. <se.9>
I can never weave that thing in between gcd. It just doesn't work![]()
This is probably the most obnoxious macro I've ever seen.I don't remember about the blunt arrow macro, I just pull it off my memory though I no longer use it for far longer than I can remember. But I do use a new macro for my WAR like this:

Well... it helps to raise my dps a little bit more... bad habit carry over as a dps haha ^^;
It started off from HG and holmgang macro though... but if a healer drops me an esuna/leech on the second time I pop berserk, I'm usually giving them my commendation if possible.
What's wrong asking for esuna/leech after berserk ends though? It's not like I kick up a fuss or anything if I don't get it, it's a nice bonus if I do though. And I do get them from time to time during DR.
But like I said, this came over from my HG / holmgang countdown macro. My healer friend once said she can toss an esuna for me if she knows when berserk is going to end, hence how this macro came about.
It sounds like a good idea in concept, but I guess maybe it can be obnoxious in a long and hard fight with its rather short cooldown? Maybe the healer has to heal you and also deal with 2 DPS that just took some mechanics damage and it could put some stress when the macro goes off that much, so at that point, getting rid of your Pacification is last priority. It works well in dungeons and with calm healers, but doesn't really apply to everyone. I don't have a healer at lv 50 yet, so I can't really comment further on this. If I was healing, I would find that macro helpful, but again, it's different for everyone and their method of handling things.What's wrong asking for esuna/leech after berserk ends though?
