Make own parties with retainers

I'm a total sucker for these dynamic changes to the game world, especially in MMOs where you least expect them.

I also noticed Minfilia's private military of ULTRAMARINE WARRIORS standing around serving and protecting Eorzea on streetcorners after you finish the MSQ. Love it!

Oh god is this a War 40k reference, I'm going to go finish the MSQ asap if so lol. That's just epic.

Have any of you noticed the retainers out and about in certain field areas gathering for their masters?
After patch 2.3 we made it possible to see them gathering in the field, so next time you’re gathering, the person next to you might just be someone’s retainer!

Is this only for Gathering class retainers, or will we be able to see battle classes duking it out with their targets? :3

Although this certainly gives me reason to reset one of my retainers into a Fisherman or Botanist, but...

If so, I will have a talk with her and ask right away to stop killing Coeurls so she can give me their hearts as a token of her love at ilvl80. It's getting ridiculously old.

But yeah, I'm pretty sure they thought of putting like the newcomers, a nice icon that will show they are not Botters lol

When I was going out to Whitebrim once i saw a MRD retainer walking along the path Was wondering when you guys did that.

And also Grekumah! If its ok to ask, will personal housing be purely cosmetic. I wanted to know will it add new abilities to use like the Home Turf dlc of Dc Universe cause 300,000 gil is a lot to pay for it. Then more gil to customize the looks inside.

Oh…. I haven’t even noticed this change at all. I’ve been exploring and going about my business and probably mistaken them for npc’s. I guess some have seen and like this feature but.. Not me(shrugs shoulders). Disappointing for me though.
