    Gamepad controls actually do this by default, you don't have to <mo> or confirm on the target or anything.

    On WHM the only macro I use is one to swap to the target of my current target so I can easily swap between the tank/whatever he's attacking. There's really no necessity for them on WHM except for convenience but I like to have manual control of my character as much as possible.

    My healer macros are usually along these lines:
    /micon Cure
    /ac "Stone II" <mo>
    /ac Cure <mo>
    /ac Cure <t>

    similar for regen and aero / aero II, etc
    I really like this setup when playing heals cause you just mouse over the party window to heal players, then mouse over the enemy list to go on the offensive (after ur first heal, the enemy list is fully populated.), you can add dots to each enemy without loosing your main target, etc
