    Macro Icon Suguesstion

    Hey I have a suggestion for macros. but since I suck at explaining this I'll use examples to illustrate first:

    I am a BLM that wanted to make a macro that goes Blizzard III > Thunder II/III > Fire III > Fire. and noticed that tri disaster would be perfect for the macro icon (since it shows all three elements, or at least their colors) but the problem is that, tri disaster being a Arcanist skill and BLM can't use it will stay dark (and show the MP cost)

    Another example is using Phantom Dart as an icon (because I like rainbows) but it too has a similar problem because as a PvP skill, it is unusable in PvE and thus also stuck in the dark

    My suggestion is to add a code to the macro system that allows using skills as macro icons without their cooldowns or MP costs attached (and make it a code as to not interfere with macros using icons to see the cooldowns)

    Does it really matter that it's darkened? Just use it anyway. It's not going to stop you from using the macro.

    Why on earth would you make such a macro. It completely destroys your DPS.

    I know it is, but using a macro like that will introduce longer waits between abilities than you could do yourself.

    Even better, we should be able to specify a folder and it'll let us use any image in it of such and such dimensions for an icon. That way the devs don't have to worry about cooking a bunch up, and players can make some that are tailored to their specific needs.
