Just out of curiosity, exactly how many characters are you making for this to be a problem, and why are you making them all?

I don't do much role play, but in my own twisted little mind and reality, all my extra characters have their own personality and style, outside of my character who I play as being me.

I agree but I believe the reason you cannot skip is due to needing to choose a dialogue option, as you cannot skip those cutscenes at all.
Example the "hey adventurer are you new to ul'dah " or something like that then he asks what you came there for , for fame, for glory etc
And I don't think their system can handle auto picking it for you

Maybe they can skip the scene before the "Oi" message pops.
