What's stopping us from queueing without a job?

Have you noticed that there's no actual restriction that states, "We cannot enter this particular duty finder without a job class." As long as you meet the iLvl requirement, the matchmaker's all like, "Hi, Sugar Candy. C'mon in." So why do we all enter the duty finder on a job class anyways? Why is this unspoken rule the one with the most followers? There might be some understandable hostility if you're trying to pull this taboo in T5 or Levi Ex, but the duty roulette is simple enough.

Don't just ask yourself. Ask the person inside yourself. Your inner subconscious. The one that determines the universal truths of your galaxy. Why do I (you) play a job class when it is not necessary?

I do it occasionally going in a party without a soul crystal and i'm still waiting to this day to report that one fool to kick me for not wearing one.

You must select a reason for using votekick and you will get suspended if you abuse votekick for kicking for a reason you didn't select (otherwise known as votekick abuse). Where did you get this ridiculous claim from?

You don't have to abide by anything. Opting out of using a job crystal is not and never will be a viable reason to use vote kick on someone. Of the reasons you can vote kick someone, not using a job crystal is not one of them. If you use the vote kick feature just because you see someone not using a job crystal is misuse of vote kick. Plain and simple.

It's honestly just that classes don't have a very 'Final Fantasy' feel to me. I wish classes weren't in the game - I would have preferred just jobs. Having to go through class quests which don't interest me is tiresome. And SCH and SMN having to share attribute points is just annoying to me. Without classes that wouldn't be an issue.

All of that said, I have nothing against anyone playing classes if they prefer them. I would invite people on classes to my group any day.

Your previous statement kind of alludes to the reasoning behind classes. Yes, classes are an old car, but they can be upgraded into different paths. Think of classes as an Eevee. Depending on your choice, your Eevee evolves into the (now) countless types. The freedom of the Armoury system (and thus, classes) doesn't extend towards the Job System. Nor should there be a reason for it to.

Sometimes when I feel like using Carbuncle because reasons I queue as Arcanist in trial roulette. I never get vote kicked lol. People never even say anything.
