SE, can you test the damn patch b4 releasing it?

It's sounds stupid as the title, but nonetheless it's true. How can you release a patch with all the aforementioned problems , unbalanced classes, dumbed down classes?

I'm tired of looking my shield float in middle air while buffing and doing Michael jackson's moonwalking while I change my weapon while walking!

1.19, better solve all thEse problems and mp consumption...

Well half what you listed is not a problem as was very much intended.

The things like the animation thing when moving and going into active mode and various bugs with new things are issues.

The shield thing I have no idea what you are talking about with that one, haven't had that issue personally.

Considering what they add and how long they take it's like they have a 4 person team.

The fact that classes are actually starting to get pidgeon-holed out of dungeon party slots within the first week of release is indeed a major problem, especially when the content brought by this patch was LONG-expected (i.e. about 1 year) to bring the first truly legitimate end-game content which this game has been sorely lacking.

Also, 3-4GB? My freaking ass.... but considering I've redownloaded the 300 same megabytes every patch I can almost conclude that they've given me 3 GB...

(In conclusion, it is hilarious how ARC can get a megaton nerf-bat yet still be "OP" because SE hasn't learned how to build a damn proper fight yet. /3cheers)

How'd I know it would relate to MP in some way? I have ZERO problems with MP management on my Conjurer during the high end dungeon.

You should probably read what the development team, including the director/producer Yoshida writes -- It was stated 1.18 will feel and look rough as it's literally part 1 of x patches that's being broken down as it's a very large amount of changes they can't do at once.

They could be done at once, but it would take about 6 months to a year before a patch and it would be about 3-4GB download, which is why they decided to break it up

What kind of lame excuse is that? The past patches were fine. They added content. And did a few tweaks. You don't throw up at people's face, deep bugged changes just like that without losing $$ players. If you can't launch a proper patch, keep up the few tweaks and addin content until the deep changes are tested in a test server by us, players and then release live. You dont feel mp management because you play in a full party. You are 30%. the other 70% that have a life and work, felt it. If the basic thing as animations bug, doesn't affect you, I feel sorry for you. It's like you go to a restaurant and order a pizza and it comes with a hair from who knows where. You just put the hair aside and eat the pizza, since it still taste like pizza right?

See, considering I actually work in this industry I'm not bothered by "roughness" as I see it every day when I go to work on projects early in development so I know how roughness can be, especially when it's stated. People complained about animation lock as well as having to stop to switch modes -- The adjustment they did not only took away the animation lock, but you don't stop anymore, which means they simply didn't add in the new animation for it -- It's pretty clear it was to get the mechanic in then adjustments come later, again as stated. The shield issue is a long standing issue which I'm pretty sure they'll get around to fixing as they're obviously focusing on animations.

I don't see this kind of roughness and jagged nature in FFXI, a product I pay monthly for, so clearly while this game is free to play and pretty much going under an overhaul, it's to be expected they'll do things in phases.

The difference here compared to the pizza scenario, is that the pizza joint didn't tell me to expect a hair in the pizza, whereas SE stated certain things, most specifically the AA system, will feel rough.

Yes, the only difference is that I gave a leap of faith to SE Since I always respected the company and admired their products because of it's quality, which made me spend $80 in a CE PLUS $100 in 6 months gameplay. All in advance. I don't see that money coming back to me despite being stated the quality of the game is poor. Stated by their management.now, if it would, I would shut my mouth and move on. Since I paid all that, I want everything to be smooth and not rough as stated.

Yeah, I am sure it is much easier to enjoy standing around waiting for the mp bar to refill when other people keep the kills and cures coming in the meantime.

In B4 "this is an MMO you should never ever ever solo!"
